A clear, repeatable framework built from years of real studio experience
Whether you've just finished your reformer Pilates teacher training and have no idea where to start, or you've been teaching for a couple of years and you're stuck in a rut, I promise you're not alone. Chances are, one (or all) of these sounds familiar:
✓ Even though you've completed your teacher training, you still can't shake the feeling of not knowing how to "put it all together" into a class that flows.
✓ You dread planning classes, so you scroll social media for inspiration, but come away feeling more overwhelmed, unsure how to make it fit alongside what you already teach.
✓ You teach the same safe rotation of exercises and sequences because venturing beyond it causes stress and anxiety.
✓ You panic when something unexpected happens in a class, and it knocks your confidence for the rest of it.
✓ You go into a tailspin over a bad review, replaying it for days instead of shaking it off.
✓ You worry your classes aren't full and wonder what the fully booked teachers are doing differently.
Here's everything in your back pocket the moment you enrol:

The Pause Method is a fully on-demand course made up of four video modules, totalling X hours of self-paced learning you can work through entirely on your own time.
Alongside the easily digestible lessons, you'll get hands-on resources to put everything into practice straight away, including the Pause Class Planner and easy to use exercise and sequence video library.
Module 1: Introduction
Understand the gap between being qualified and studio-ready, meet the three pillars behind every great class (design, delivery and mindset), and complete your own self-assessment and growth plan to kick off the course.
Module 2: Remarkable class design
This is where the magic happens. Learn the mechanics behind building a class that flows: body positions, layering, peak exercises, finishers and transitions. Then bring it all together using the Pause Class Planner, backed by the Peak Exercise Video Library and Pre-Built Sequence Bank.
Module 3: Outstanding teaching skills
Take your planning into the room. Learn how to read and cue a class, handle the unexpected like a pro, create genuine connection with clients, and build an environment they never want to leave.
Module 4: Growth Mindset
Turn feedback, including reviews (even the negative ones), into fuel for your growth, build a sustainable teaching career that avoids burnout, and step confidently into your future as an in-demand teacher. This is where you really come into your own
This course is right for you if:

It's probably not right for you if:

✕ You're looking for a course on the anatomy of Pilates.
✕ You haven't completed your reformer Pilates teacher training.
Hi, I'm Louise Jackson,
Founder of Pause, Pilates and movement studios in London, and yes, I am going to be your biggest cheerleader through every single lesson in this course.
My journey in movement started over a decade ago as a yoga teacher, before I found my way into Pilates and opened my first studio in London nine years ago. Since then, I've taught thousands of classes and hired hundreds of teachers, building a successful multi-site, multi-service business along the way. For years, we mentored our new teachers one-to-one, sitting in on their classes, giving feedback, and helping them bridge that exact gap between qualified and studio-ready.
It worked so well that we decided to shape everything we'd learned into something we could share more widely. That process became the Pause Method, everything I know about building a great reformer class, and a great reformer teacher, distilled into one course. It's the same method I use to train every teacher who joins the Pause team today. Now, I'm sharing it with you.
It's Time to Pause and Take Action
The Pause Method gives you the exact framework Pause uses to train its own team: how to plan classes that flow, lead a room with confidence, and build a teaching career clients want to be part of. This isn't just a course, it's a tried and tested system.
